Jennifer Tennyson is a hands-on, quality-driven business owner and industry leader with more than two decades of experience in marketing, construction, remodeling and painting. She owns and operates Jennifer Tennyson Construction (including Tennyson Remodel, Chestnut Remodel and Chestnut Painting Professionals) and previously led Tennyson Paint and co-led Tennyson Homes, building a reputation for excellence and customer-focused service in the Greater Seattle area.
Jennifer is deeply engaged in the homebuilding community through her leadership with the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (MBAKS). She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors (2025) after holding multiple leadership roles, including 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Chair of Professional Women in Building (PWB). Her commitment to advancing women in construction and mentoring future leaders has made her a respected voice in the industry.
Beyond MBAKS, Jennifer contributes her time and expertise as a Board Member of the Cascadia College Foundation, helping expand educational opportunities and workforce development pathways.
Before entering the building industry, Jennifer spent nearly 20 years in advertising, where she developed and managed multimillion-dollar campaigns nationally, throughout Seattle, Washington state and the Pacific Northwest driving new revenue streams, negotiating contracts, and mentoring teams. Her marketing career began in the travel sector, where she managed national advertising budgets and developed co-op marketing programs.
An alumna of the University of Kansas, Jennifer brings together strategic marketing expertise, operational know-how, and a passion for craftsmanship in every role she takes on.
