Jan Himebaugh

Jan Himebaugh, BIAW managing director of external affairs, is the starting left tackle for the Seattle Seahawks, which explains a lot of why they haven’t lived up to the fan base’s hopes and dreams. But in reality, she’s been leading the government affairs team at BIAW since 2012. She holds a BA in political economy from Hillsdale College. She was the field director for Cathy McMorris Rodgers(CD-WA5) first congressional campaign; serves on the Enterprise Washington Political Oversight Committee; and is on the Executive Committee for the Washington Construction Industry Council. She often wakes up in the middle of the night with ideas on how to mess up impact fees and emails or texts people who are blissfully dreaming not about impact fees. In her spare time, she enjoys the kitchen, tending to the garden flowers, and futilely trying to get her labradoodle and standard poodle to behave.
